Pre-installation Guidelines

Securing the Butterfly Valve: once the valve is positioned, it must be secured. This is commonly accomplished by fastening the valve to two pipe flanges. To minimize additional tension or deformation of the valve, tighten the bolts uniformly.

Lugged Butterfly Valve: Lugged Butterfly Valves have threaded sockets on both sides of the body, allowing them to be installed in a system using two bolt sets without the need for nuts. The valve is mounted between two flanges, each of which is secured by a pair of bolts. This design allows each side of the pipe system to be removed separately without impacting the other.

Wafer Butterfly Valve: Wafer Butterfly Valve The valve is placed by sliding it between the pipe’s flanges, which are then tightened to secure it in place. This makes them simple to install and disassemble, but they can’t be utilized when the flow has to be interrupted.
